Her family
Mindy adores her family. She is head over heels in love with her husband of fifteen years and together they are raising two beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, funny little boys. When not in her office, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, camping and writing about herself in the third person. Mindy and her family live in beautiful Corbett Oregon. They all enjoy their neurotic yellow lab, their three cats and have fun with their flock of 30+ laying hens that contribute to a local “egg share” for friends and neighbors who enjoy healthy, free range, happy chicken eggs.

Building awareness
Mindy is passionate about the environment and her family is very conscious of the need for all of us to lessen our footprint on this tiny blue planet. Mindy and her husband Bruce are long time supporters of “Green Source“, a 100% renewable energy option from PG&E, they are also looking to purchase a plug-in electric car as soon as possible, they have been members of their local CSA, Dancing Roots Farm, for years and are also working on converting their home step by step into an alternative energy home. She believes in education and educating people about mistruths and “truthy-ness”. ( There really is no such thing as clean coal. It is like having a healthy cigarrette. ) Mindy is also a leader for the first local Corbett Oregon 4-H club that focuses on sustainability and community service! ( Corbett Cares 4-H Club ) If nothing else, Mindy asks everyone to try and do small things every day to help make a difference. If you don’t know where to start, try here.
